Letter to My Son

someone once said that growing up he thought fathers were a disappointment. but on getting his own son he realized the sons are even a worse disappointment. For me I have no clue of any of the above for I never had a father growing up nor am I a dad yet.
But here are a few things i want you to know some which i wish my dad had left me a manual.
Trust your instinct, some would say trust your gut. 99% of the times when shit is about to happen if your careful you will know before it does you will feel it in your gut, the heaviness in your soul for no apparent reason. This is a natural alarm warning you of impending situation.
Don't trust anyone, all the trust worthy people died in the second world war and the few remaining have been screwed over many times try are just full on hatred and resentment. Do fall into the same pitfall they did. Be honest but don't trust people.
love ! love huh this one here there isn't much i can tell you about, only that falling in love is the best felling you will ever have, on the other hand your first heartbreak will hurt  more than you can imagine. It will expose all your fears worries and insecurities. Food will loose taste the nights will be long and full of misery. The only advice i can give your her is let sorrow take it cause and that the only know cure is time. Only time will heal a broken heart not booze or any other thing that they might suggest. All that this will do is numb the pain and make it last longer than it should. and you might end up trapped in the limbo of heart break if you take this path. Face the pain, cry (Men do cry, but in the rain or in the shower) and in the end you will  be fine and wiser when you emerge on the other side.
